Cofounder / COO - Bytes Robotics

2019 - Present / Software Development, Project Management, Marketing Autonomous mobile robotics company I cofounded that creates low cost robotics systems for small businesses. Developed various Robot Operating System (ROS) and ROS2 nodes for user facing portions of the robot. Contributed to various open source ROS2 projects in C++. Designed and developed a mobile app in Flutter for easy use of the autonomous navigation system and built a server for real time communication over the internet between the mobile app and robot.

Implemented a Scrum management process to manage a team of 4 engineers. Gathered requirements, assigned deliverables, and monitored key Scrum metrics to increase team efficiency. Created DevOps structure including various deployment pipelines to decrease time-to-robot software development and reduce bugs.

CEO, Marketing and Development Lead - Jesuit Robotics 2018 - 2020 / Software Development, Marketing, Project Management Directly led team of 20 engineers competing in the MATE underwater robotics compettion with a Kanban system. Led the development of frontend control applications built in Angular that interfaced with ROS. Managed the teams transition to using the ROS framework by ensuring continuing education for all engineers. Developed various Python and C++ ROS nodes.

Department lead of marketing and publications. Wrote, designed, and edited award winning technical reports, marketing posters, 150+ page books, and other marketing material for the team with well written copy and beautiful visuals.

COO - Autonomous Race Car Community (ARCC)

2018 - 2020 / Marketing, Project Management, Software Development Cofounded nonprofit with the aim of democratizing Artificial Intelligence

(AI) and Machine Learning (ML) education in a fun, interactive, and team- oriented way. Leveraged the AWS DeepRacer platform to provide amazing educational experiences for elementary, middle, and high school students. Created content for courses and workshops, marketing material (graphic design, photography, and videography), and led marketing/recruitment efforts for the nonprofit.

Led full stack development efforts for an ML testing platform called ARCC League for researchers and developers to test their ML models for the DeepRacer in the real world over the internet. Created a custom frontend Angular dashboard and a REST API with testing and CI/CD pipelines. MATE Competition
