As a Mine Shift Supervisor, I have over 37 years experience working in all facets of underground hard rock mining (nickel and precious metals). Responsible for a crew of 25 in ensuring requirements of the job were completed on schedule. Demonstrated supervisor leadership with a track record of meeting production requirements. Maintained my employment through three mergers (Noranda Mining - Falconbridge Ltd. - Xstrata Nickel - Glencore).

• Reported to Captain - was responsible for leading the safe execution of the daily duties at the Raglan Mine with a focus on daily production.

• Planned, directed, coordinated and performed daily activities based on schedule and directives.

• Monitored the progress of daily activities of a crew of 25 miners. Dealt with issues that may have come up regarding the productivity of the crew.

• Worked with the crew to ensure that schedule objectives were met in compliance with mine standards, and that work safety was carried out at all times in accordance with safety initiatives, policies and programs.
