RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure working of automation in Own Terminal works to its fullest potential following Operating, HSSE, Quality, Quantity, Maintenance & Statutory norms while handling petroleum products to serve the customer.

Having experience in handling Gantry Operations such as TT filling, TT Checking, 2 hourly Density Checking, Wagon unloading and other SOP’s.

Calibration and verification of all TTs.

Maintaining records of calibration and generate MIS for Management.

Managing Operator and Staff and conduct functional training.

Checking of Turbine flow meters by doing Quarterly proving of all Bays of HSD, MS and SKO.

Unloading of Rakes of 50 Wagons of HSD, MS and SKO received from HPCL Kanpur and preparing Release Memo and completing the job within desired time i.e. 8 Hours as given by the Railways.

Various Tank Farms Operations such as Gauging, Sampling and Water Draining is done as per SOP’s

Have Knowledge of all Tanks, TT and Wagon Safety fittings.

Issuing of All Types of Work Permits as an Issuer and Acceptor and maintaining HPCL HSE Management System.

Participating in Mock Drill as a Fire Combat Team Member for prevention of fire and emergency preparedness.

Monthly Checking of Emergency Shutdown (ESD) Switches installed in terminal.

Monthly checking of Optical Smoke Detectors (OSD), Manual Call Points (MCP).

Planning & Execution of White Oil supply to retail & industrial customers.

Managing Quality & Quantity aspect of fuels dispatched.

Inventory Management and Control.

Induction of new Tank Truck (TT) as per OISD & Petroleum rules.

Check fittings of TTs as per OISD.

Calibration of listed TTs as per the rules of Weights & Measurement Dept.

Reduce Loss of products due to malfunctioning by TT crews.

Correct accounting of product, analysis of daily loss gain.

Ensuring day end before leaving the Terminal.

Timely delivery of product to customers.

Ensure no customer complaints of density variation and water.

Ensure timely dispatch of product to customers by control of TT cycle time within the terminal.

Induct TTs as per SOPs and keep record.
