I am very interested in the Quality Test Analyst #863 position and believe that my employment experience and education are appropriate for the position. I have been in the Quality Assurance an Business System Analyst fields for over fifteen years. This includes the Information Technology Software Development data analytics industry and financial services industry. I coordinated the End to End testing for a highly complex web based Teradata application. Testing was executed using the Agile Methodology process that involved testing the software application in the cloud and on-premise using continuous integration. Automated web testing techniques were introduced in software product testing areas that required repetitive manual processes. At Fidelity Investments, I was responsible for leading and coordinating Integration Testing requirements across multiple functional testing teams. I created the Integrated Test Strategy and Integrated Test Plan utilizing information and data across multiple teams and developed a Quality Assurance Product Dashboard to report the status of all testing teams and identify risks and offer strategic recommendations to reduce these risks.
I have exceeded expectations from my managers at Teradata and Fidelity Investments by contributing new processes and introducing new testing techniques to decrease the testing timeline. I utilized my business system analysis skills acquired from converting commercial loan systems to the quality assurance field by learning the importance of listening to product owners and applying this information to user stories. I continuously strive to improve system design and testing processes by offering suggestions on data flow processes and system design enhancements.
I have over twenty years experience in the financial services sector where I was involved with application and product development, system and data analysis, system conversions, project coordination and customer support. I developed automated service test cases to reduce the testing timeline and reduce headcount. I continue to expand my system design analysis skills by contributing to design and data flow discussions and by participating in new product development architecture discussions. I would be grateful for the opportunity to broaden my leadership skills in this challenging and innovative position and provide successful solutions and ideas in a technological environment.
