Project Works

Biofuel generation from waste wood – green energy: This project deals with the development of an alternative fuel which can replace LPG and petroleum motor fuels. Wood from Prosopis juiflora – a weed to produce wood gas and blending with char gas to make a high calorific value hybrid fuel.

Hybrid power generation from waste heat from diesel power plant with Kalina power cycle: Heat is wasted in the heat exchangers of diesel power plant. This project aims “waste heat recovery” and using it to run a Kalina cycle (power plant), thereby improving the plant efficiency.

Design and fabrication of regenerative spring energy in bicycle setup: Spring potential energy is used to store while pedaling the cycle, then the stored energy is released when there is a need of high torque requirement to move heavy loads in market. This can be used in cycles used in market to move heavy loads.
