MAJOR PROJECT:

“EFFECT OF BAYWIDTH ON DESIGN PARAMETERS OF BUILDING” Our main objective is to analyse and design a six-storeyed buildingwhich can resist to bending moment, shear force and seismic loads byusing SAP software. As bay width increases Bending Moment and Shear Force increases in allcolumns except in e,f,i,j,m,n,o,p in 7m bay width building and also showsa variation from linear to multiple curves. In a,b,c,d,g,h,k,l in consecutivestoreys in same column they show more variation.As bay width increases Bending Moment and Shear Force increases in allbeams. But in outer beams increases up to 5th story and decreases at 6th forsame beam. In inner beams it shows same behavior in all storeys. As bay width increases axial forces increases. Decreases as storeyincreases in same beam.

As bay width increases in percentage, steel percentage also increases in allcolumns and inner beams. But in outer columns it decreases at 50%increase in bay width and increase for 75% increase in bay width. WORK EXPERIENCE;
