Roles & Responsibilities

Design

Design & detailing of equipment considering all live loads including flow, pressure, temperature etc with environmental factors

Preparation of design data, design basis, & design calculations of projects

Preparation of QAP for quality control in manufacturing equipments.

Preparation of estimation / BOQ / Costing for bidding purpose of projects

Vetting general arrangement drawing of equipments & detail of process in coordination with mechanical, civil, electrical & instrumentation discipline. Process

Selection of rotating equipment.

Preparation of Piping & instrumentation diagram as per tender specifications & sending for approval (including line sizing, selection of valves & controls).

Preparation of Process flow diagram.

Planning

Scheduling equipment manufacturing using MS Project.

Forecasting material requirements based on the scope of work & estimating raw material quantities from drawing.

Generating material requisition with technical specifications in compliance with design basis & approved vendor list with follow up.

Preparing work orders for manufacturing items.

Documentation of project files as per ISO standard.

M.E Thesis: “Development of PCM based heat exchanger for HVAC in car”

The objective of this project is to maintain the thermal comfort inside the cabin of a car by using PCM in the evaporator during car idle/stop time, using CFD simulation. B.E Project: “Experimental studies on effectiveness of service brake supported by EMR”

This project stresses for an effective analysis enabling design development of an upgraded model of a frictionless braking with the combined effect of electromagnetic energy on retarders
