JOB DESCRIPTION

• DCS Operation (Honeywell Experion C300) of Ammonia Production Unit.

• Process Control and Quality Monitoring for improved productivity and zero production loss.

• Co-ordinating effectively with panel/field operators and other departments and strict adherence to SOP for proper functioning of the system.

• Timely execution of turn around maintenance and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure minimal breakdowns.

• Practical and Operational knowledge of Pumps, Compressors, Stripper, Cooling tower, Drum Filter, Plate Filters, Heat Exchangers, Agitators(Radial/Axial) and Blowers.

• Suggest and implement modifications required for effective running of plant.

• Co-ordinate with maintenance department for initiating maintenance activities.

• Ensure safe and efficient control of work through the use of Work Permit System with compliance to Safety standards and practices.

• Troubleshooting of process operations during Power failure, Instrument failure and Utility failure.

• Manpower allocation.

• To maintain logbooks, record for the jobs carried out.
