Medicare-Fraud Detection: Use supervised machine learning to detect and predict exclusions to Medicare providers based on open data. Using Python to ingest data, do data wrangling and EDA, apply features to models such as SVC and Logistic Regression, and finally use cross-validation scores and AUC performance metrics. IEEE-CIS Fraud Detection: Build machine learning model (Numpy, Pandas and Scikit-learn) to predict the probability that an online transaction is fraudulent. Conduct statistical research to identify and isolate relevant features sets that drive fraudulent transactions.
