Professional Experience

2019 - present, Postdoctoral Researcher at Laboratory of Materials and Scientific Computing at Federal University of Santa Catarina. 2015 – 2019, Researcher assistant/PhD candidate at Federal University of Santa Catarina. My main responsibilities included activities in the Energy and Environment Laboratory, such as research in synthesis, characterization and catalytic activity of new catalytic materials, also chemical and kinetic analysis. I was responsible for applying and improving analytical methods, for instance, gas and liquid chromatography, mass spectroscopy etc. Moreover, I was involved in the supervision of undergraduate students for Master's thesis and research projects, also writing scientific articles, attending international conferences and teaching undergraduate chemical engineers in laboratory courses. In my thesis I developed a photocatalytic reactor for ethylene oxidation.

2013 – 2015, Researcher assistant/Master student at Federal University of Santa Catarina doing scientific research, analysis of water, soil and tissues. Performed chemical analysis related to environmental science, soil and water pollution. Furthermore, I worked as a teacher with undergraduate students, writing scientific articles and attending international conferences.

2011 – 2013, Chemical engineer at Farroupilha City Hall working in the Department of environmental engineering, performing technical analysis of chemical processes, analytic evaluation of technical studies for chemical industries, responsible for law and regulation processes.

2007 - 2011: Intern Research at Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation

(EMBRAPA). Responsible for chemical analysis, design of experiments, statistical analysis and lectures development. I worked with a multidisciplinary team of researchers.
