A Gold Medalist in Electrical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering with a Masters in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and a Ph.D. in Computer Science with research in the area of Distributed Artificial Intelligence from IIT, Delhi, Dr. Saxena is a first generation entrepreneur and Founder CEO of NetEdge Computing Solutions Pvt. Ltd.

With over 30 years of experience in Information Technology, my prime focus is in Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Management, Distributed Systems, Internet of Things and Cloud Computing.

I founded NetEdge in 1992 after working with leading Indian IT companies like HCL and CMC Ltd. with a vision to provide world class IT solutions and services at affordable prices to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) across the world.

At NetEdge, I have been driving the growth, providing vision and direction and have been actively involved in the conceptualization, design, and architecture of several cutting-edge software products. I have personally mentored and encouraged the research and development at NetEdge, incubating new ideas and initiatives that add value to the services and exceed customer expectations.

In addition to this I have also advised and mentored many young professionals in starting their own enterprises. I have provided them my experience of starting and running a successful enterprise with minimum resources.

He has vast experience both as an Entrepreneur and an Innovator and Pioneer of Technology

Experience as an Entrepreneur:

Dr. Manoj Saxena founded NetEdge in the year 1992 after working in Indian IT industry for over 8 years. He is the driving force behind the company's focus, providing vision and direction throughout the company's growth. Involved in the conceptualization, design, and architecture of several cutting-edge software products at NetEdge, Dr. Saxena has mentored and encouraged the research and development at NetEdge, incubating new ideas and initiatives that added value to services provided to the customers and help NetEdge exceed customer expectations.

He has been instrumental in bring NetEdge from a startup with One Employee operating from home office to a company with over 60,000 Sq. FT. of office space and hundreds of employees spread over India, UK and USA. NetEdge has been listed in the Top IT and ITeS services companies of India by Dun & Bradstreet. NetEdge has also been recognized by Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as the Fastest 50 Indian Technologies Company. Experience as a Researcher and Innovator:

He has been actively involved in Research and Innovation at NetEdge in the area of Artificial Intelligence. Some of his designed heuristics algorithms have been incorporated in various products developed by NetEdge. He has written many articles in various National and International Journals on Distributed Problem Solving and presented papers in conferences sponsored by IEEE and ACM. He is a registered Computer Consultant with Asian Development Bank and a voting member of the IEEE standards committee on LAN standards. He has successfully managed numerous networking and information technology projects providing innovative and successful turnkey solutions to meet the requirements across various industries. These projects have been funded by Asian Development Bank and World Bank.
