Summary of the Research work:
A Schiff base is well known condensation of a aldehyde /ketone with primary amine containing azomethine functionality. The Schiff’s bases of aromatic amine are most stable as compared to that of non-aromatic one due to the presence of effective Conjugation system in the case of aromatic amine whereas, no such effective conjugation is observed non aromatic amine. In broad sense, schiff base have the general formula R1R2 C=NR3 as depicted in the scheme

Schiff’s bases find many applications in the scientific fields such as biology, medicine, and inorganic chemistry, organic and analytical chemistry. Many Schiff’s base and their metal complexes are known to process catalytic, fluorescent properties, anti bacterial, antifungal, antiviral, antituberculosis, antihelminthic, antitumor, DNA photocleavage activities and DNA binding agents.
Although, A few natural products are known as an example, highly donated in donor atoms (O, S, N).

Scheme 3.1. General methods for synthesis of transition metals The first method is the treatment of donor atoms directly attached to the metal atoms 4.1 (N). And also phenyl thiocyanate donor atoms nitrogen and sulphur directly attached to metal atoms 4.3. Then the reaction of salicylicaldehyde have a two donor atoms, it was directly attached to metal atoms 4.4.
In conclusion, we have shown that a variety of schiff base ligand can be synthesized by Cu and Co metal complex.
Cu (II) complexes with Bidentate Schiff’s base ligand are successfully synthesized and characterized by various spectroscopic techniques to elucidate the chemical structure of synthesized compounds.
