1.Reporting and administration

In conjunction with Section Ranger be routinely responsible for attendance registers, leave forms and records, section related registers, ration pack control, kilometre and fuel accounting and other day to day administrative tasks.

Responsible for a wide range of correspondence internal and external, in conjunction with Section Ranger

Assisting in compiling month reports which is obtained from section related documents.

The punctual and correct forwarding of all relevant documents through efficient time management and office routine

Responsible for order and requisition books and timeously purchasing of regular items

Responsible for the ordering of uniform and other ranger related issuing.

Coordinate Field Ranger training program in conjunction with training manager and section ranger.

Ensure all relevant communication and advertisements that is related to staff, be displayed in notice board in the living quarters.

Responsible of a high level of neatness of office and sore premises.

1.Monitoring and data collection

Assist and coordinate Park staff or Scientific Services with relevant monitoring programs within the section.

Assist with data collection in the prescribed method e.g. Veld Condition Assessment, rainfall data.

Overseeing, in conjunction with Section Ranger, the Biodiversity Social Programs (BSP) within the section

Identify and culminate areas infested with Alien plants and liaise with the BSP Cluster Manager on the planning of the eradication program

Identify road verge clearing needs in conjunction with Section Ranger and liaise with the BSP Cluster Manager on the planning of clearing

Identify man induced eroded areas within the section in conjunction with Section ranger and liaise with the BSP Cluster Manager on erosion related assistance.

Facilitate day to day BSP program activities in conjunction with Section ranger.

Facilitate any special conservation needs e.g. water sampling.

Oversee in conjunction with Section Ranger, maintenance of water for game infrastructure

Oversee in conjunction with Section Ranger, fire management.

Oversee in conjunction with Section Ranger, basic law enforcement.

1.Logistical Support
