Formatting articles to be published in mathematical journals for two Boston University professors at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science in downtown Bos- ton. The two individuals submit drafts of work to be typed in a language called TeX and resubmitted to them for review. This is a multistage project and can last as long as 5 months for each project. Once I make corrections to this manuscript, it is reviewed once again by the contributing professor, then sent to one of the mathematical journals for publication. My fee for this service is submitted to the individual professor and pay- ment is received overnight by direct electronic deposit to my bank account.

. Edited journal articles for publication utilizing my home computer, the Internet and my HP 8600A laser printer for two professors in the mathe- matics department. Extensive knowledge of journal formatting require- ments and integral procedures to conform with specific journal protocol. Several articles were published in such important journals as the Annals of Probability and the American Journal of Mathematics. All work done on these articles for the faculty at the Dept. of Math. At Boston University was done on my home computer and sent to the faculty member involved at their B.U. email address.

. Formatted and entered data from paper compliance reports from store outlets across the Commonwealth selling tobacco products, listing the usage of card- ing for youths under the age of 18. Compliance with state regulations prohib- iting the sale of any tobacco products to youth were to be marked on the submit form in accordance with regulations. If carding was not used at the store, the program had to be installed under penalty of a fine for non-com- pliance. These forms were sent to every store outlet in the state; replies were input to our database in Boston.

Researched data and presented reports on specific tobacco-related projects ranging from the effects of tobacco on pregnancy, and the deleterious health influence upon youngsters and adolescents who were passengers in vehicles operated by parents and relatives or friends who were passengers and smoked during the trip.

. Submitted Annual Revue reports for each member of the math faculty to the Chairman of the department and Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at the university. Information supplied included number of classes held, topics covered, grants received in the past year on a wide range of math disciplines (Chaos Theory, Probability, Number Theory). Grant budgets were also facsimilied and sub- mitted to the authorities, which included applications for grant extensions, and yearly progress reports on the assigned grant material.

Assisted specific professors in the formatting, input and editing of their material to be submitted for publication by such prestigious journals as The Annals of Probability, The Springer-Verlag Monograph Series in Mathematics and related mathematical publications.
