Presently working in SOHAR STEEL LLC. OMAN AS Manager(SMS). Looking after

Various areas of SMS with production, shut down activity, man power training, costing and ensuring safe working Environment at workplace.

Earlier SMS had 35 MT EAF, Lrf, 6/11 meters 4 strand CCM.

After revamping commissioning of 75 Mt Danieli eaf, Lrf, 6/11 meters radius 6 strand CCM.

TMT MILL with Bendoti reheating furnace and online hot billet transfer from CCM.

CURRENT RESPONSIBILITIES ARE :

Responsible for all operational aspects of EAF-75 tons, Heat Size, Yield, Power Consumption, Sequence heat planning and charge preparation and ensuring the quality of raw materials and consumables. To control and manage team

SMS while ensuring smooth operation of sms.

Wide experience in shutdown activities of EAF and LF, Co-ordination related to other department.

Also involved in Technical cell activities (i.e. Plant availability, overall efficiency of the plant, and cause for the delay, action plan and corrective action.)

Making 30 heats in a day using hot dri.

To handle day to day activities of sms while meeting the production target with prescribed quality parameters.

To Co-ordinate with departmental heads for insuring smooth operation of sms division.

We are making some special grades also like as 50 cr v4,42crmo4(en19),gost 30 xtca

Sail hard,corten,sa387 class 12 and class 22 & api x-60/65

STEEL MELT SHOP:- SMS have two EAF(60 MT each),two LRF and two CCM.

I was working in different areas in SMS.

Charge preparation as per grades

Co-ordination and communication from different areas

Presence at critical and important areas.

Furnace,Ladle inspection

EBT inspection i.e. gap & end brick condition.

To tap maxm heats in shift without ladle delay.

Start casting at right time

Full care of Heat size,Yield,EAF and LF power,no superheat and chemistry deviation.

Man power training.
