Experimental and Analytical investigation of Hybrid TRC with Engineered Cementitious Composites (2020)

Abstract This study focuses on thin shell reinforced with Carbon-Kevlar hybrid textile mesh considering 3, 4 and 5 layers of the mesh. Their load carrying capacity and stress-strain behavior is been studied using FEM software. As we observe the graphs there is 30% decrease in deflection in 5 layers of hybrid TRC to that of 3 and 4 layers of TRC.

Outcome As the layer of TRC increases the strength of the thin shell increases. INTERNSHIP:

Worked as an intern for a period of 4 months in Gopalan enterprises in QA/QS department.

Worked in the data management department for a period of 2 months at Direct Dialogue Initiatives India.

Worked as an intern for two weeks at Innotech Engineering Consult Pvt. Ltd. ACHEIVEMENTS:

Participated in “climate change quiz” held in J.N. Auditorium, Indian Institute of Science organised by DIVECHA CENTRE FOR CLIMATE CHANGE on 23 rd

September 2015.

Attended junior level of All India General Knowledge Examination 2005 and 2006 and has secured certificate of proficiency and certificate of merit which was organised by CHRD (Centre for Human Resource Development).

Had won the award for securing highest mark in Tamil at school level and was awarded by Tamil sangam for the same in SSLC.

Participated in annual sports meet held at Gopalan College of Engineering and Management in 2013 and secured the 1st place in throw ball.
