MidAmerican Energy – Human Resources Internship 05/2019 to 03/2020

Responsible for multiple projects from conception to end. Completed Veterans (federal government report) reporting project for all of MidAmerican Energy employees and created the paid time off calculator for all Berkshire Hathaway Energy affiliated employees. Assisted other team members on numerous projects to reach deadlines.

Provided weekly report to MidAmerican Energy executive team regarding training updates for all employees. Tasked with scanning approximately 2,000 employee files to online database as MidAmerican Energy went paperless. This task saved MidAmerican Energy roughly $5,000 annually in storage fees when completed.

Midamerican Energy – Global Procurement Internship 03/2018 to 05/2019

Created and coordinated 820 reverse electronic auctions for roughly 1,600 suppliers representing over $600 million for all of Berkshire Hathaway Energy affiliates over a 7 month period.

Assisted with communication and support with internal and external customers for multiple projects ongoing within Berkshire Hathaway Energy via phone and e-mail.

Created location and transition cost Excel templates for Berkshire Hathaway Energy businesses for use in aggregation activities.

USA Hockey – Official Level 3 09/2007 to Present

Referee across the country for all levels of play including High School Junior Varsity & Varsity, 16 & 18 U AAA Tier I, Junior hockey (North American Hockey League & United States Hockey League), American Collegiate Hockey League Division I College Men & Women. Successfully passed exams and on-ice testing to be promoted from level 1 to level 2 to level 3.

Exercise conflict management by reading situations and reacting in a professional manner while enforcing the rules of the sport, along with maintaining self-composure at all times.

Kuhn’s Flooring & Design – Installer 11/2016 to 08/2017

Installed and refinished hardwood floor, laminate, vinyl, carpet and tile. Supported the competitive advantage of relatively low prices and custom floor patterns, while maintaining individual customer focus and pride on projects.

Effectively communicated with contractors, clients, and my supervisor about timelines, due dates, and issues that may have come up from the day to day activities.
