Operations Manager

Leader of business delivery of comprehensive maintenance services for a portfolio of nine industrial sites serving six customers. Responsible for P&L on revenue of greater than $48,000,000 per year.

• Led 2018 safety performance for my book of business executing more than 1.1 Million man hours of safe work across 6 customers and nine sites at a TRIR of 0.00.

• Leader of the development of a comprehensive maintenance behavioral compliance technology suite utilizing intrinsically safe hand-held devices for deployment in industrial environments. Provided maintenance subject matter expert oversite of the development, test and deployment of the system to more than 50 industrial sites in the US.

• Optimized sites performance resulting in the receipt of the Austin Industrial President’s Best of the Best site award in both Q3 and Q4 of 2018.

• Lead the development and delivery of training programs to prepare aspirants for the CMRP CMRT test resulting in a greater than 100% increase in the number of CMRP or CMRT certified professionals in the company between February 2018 and February 2019.

• Operations Team focal on the development of training material and the deployment of a PSM training skid used in the training of site craft personnel. Coordinated the deployment of the PSM skid and training the craft work force at 6 sites in Q4 2018.

Program Director—Asset Management, Reliability & Maintenance (Saudi Arabia) (2017) Direct operations for reliability engineering, maintenance engineering and asset management organizations at industrial sites in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia including all maintenance and support staff. Responsible for the development and execution of best practice based asset management and maintenance operations business in support of the broad Saudi Arabian industrial asset management market. Director of Sites Maintenance Operations, Morocco (2015-2016) Directed teams of engineering subject matter experts in the delivery of organizational and asset performance optimization projects at multiple industrial sites in Morocco.

• Recruited, deployed, and led a project team of recognized industry engineering experts in the development of comprehensive Plant Operations, Asset Management, Reliability Engineering & Maintenance Engineering strategies and practices for a newly completed ore processing and sorting plant in Youssoufia, Morocco. Successfully completed scope of work included MEL development, Equipment Criticality studies and development of critical equipment lists, FMEA completed for all critical equipment, development of care plans for all critical equipment, development of comprehensive lubrication strategy, thermography monitoring, vibration monitoring, RCFA development and utilization, and Equipment Care Plans. Project was completed in record time and under budget. This was the first successful and profitable project completion performed in the Kingdom in two years.

Director of Operations, Industrial Services—O & M (Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia & Doha, Qatar) 2011-2015 Directed the creation and operation of an Operations & Maintenance joint venture company in Saudi Arabia to service the broad Saudi Arabian industrial market. Prior to launching the company in Saudi Arabia I served as deputy project director and site maintenance manager for a five year $750Million comprehensive maintenance contract in Qatar leading an organization of more than 1200 direct hire and subcontract employees. Led planning scheduling and supervision for a 5000 craftsmen turnaround at a large LNG plant including onshore and offshore assets.

• Directed comprehensive Labor Activity Analysis and Improvement program at multiple customer sites resulting in a 25% improvement in craft workforce wrench time in 12 months.

• Conceptualized, developed and implemented new recruiting process resulting in acceleration of recruiting and new employee mobilization from an average of 5 new employees per month to more than 30.
