I started with no pharmacy experience and was quickly promoted to pharmacy technician. I then, in the shortest amount of time possible, became nationally certified by the PTCB. I accomplished this goal with on the job training I helped customers with their prescriptions, did data entry, and handled insurance issues. I spoke with insurance company representatives about prior authorizations, eligibility issues and various other billing issues. I filed prescriptions and helped to keep the pharmacy orderly and organized.
