Senior Technical Writer Consultant, Engineering Division Researched and wrote a system architecture guide for an Information Security Analytics (ISA) platform that describes the product’s core features, architecture, design requirements, components, and role that each component provides for the IKANOW Threat Intelligence Platform solution.

Microsoft (BlueTalon), Redwood City, CA 1/15 – 6/15 Senior Technical Writer Consultant Engineering Division Researched and wrote an installation and deployment guide for BlueTalon data security product that provided data entitlement and fine-grained access control for Hadoop. This document provided concepts as well as instructions on how to install and deploy this Hadoop- based product on a cluster, on a Virtual Machine, or on a fully-distributed cluster. Deployment options were setting up and using RPM (Red-hat Package Manager for managing software packages in Linux) either through yum (Yellowdog Update) or in a pre-configured AMI (Amazon Machine Images) that starts an EC2 instance in AWS (Amazon Web Services). Updated Systems, CLI, and API documentation. Wrote several technical notes, including IP Packet Fragment Reassembly and DPI-Finder application that filtered IP network traffic by using advanced deep packet inspection anywhere within the data payload of the packet. Presented a Carrier Grade Language (CGL) Storage management feature as an added value to the CGL product by providing a comprehensive documentation plan that identified it as a marketable product while showing its components and product functions. Posit Science (Neuroscience) Corporation, San Francisco, CA 1/05 – 2/05 Contract Senior Scientific Writer, Research & Development Division Successfully compiled a training guide in two weeks, enabling educators of “brain rebuilding” software to teach clients how to enhance memory performance.
