MAIN PROJECT –USE OF WASTE MATERIALS IN CONCRETE

Description: Concrete industry is one of the largest consumers of natural resources. The global consumption of natural sand is very high, due to the extensive use of concrete. In the backdrop of such a bleak atmosphere,In order to make concrete industry sustainable, there is large demand for alternative materials from industrial waste that are inexpensive and easily available to natural sand. By using waste material such as Glass powder, Iron slag and M sand concrete is made and investigated for Physical and Mechanical properties of concrete also to evaluate the construction cost .which will be an emerging trend in Concrete technology and ensures its developments will progress in mere future.

Description - The use of nano-particles in developing materials with desired properties has gained popularity and is being applied in many fields. Concrete technology is a multidisciplinary area of research where nanotechnology potentially offers the opportunity to improve the properties of concrete to suit the specific requirements. Addition of nano-materials to concrete can lead to significant improvements in the strength and life of concrete.
