1. Monitor and ensure that all shipyard operations conform to all statutory requirements. 2. Enforce shipyard’s HSE rules and regulations.

3. Assists in the formulation of HSE procedures and safe work practices. 4. Oversee all safety aspects of vessels under construction or repair. 5. To advise line supervision on issues pertaining to safety and health legislations. 6. Supervise and guide Safety personnel deployed on board vessel. 7. 10. Participate in the preparation and execution of safe work procedures, environmental control and emergency procedures.

11. Carry out gas freeing of vessels and issuance of various Permit-To-Work permits. 12. Ensure compliance with HSE requirements by all employees working within the shipyard. 13. Ensure all safety equipment is maintained in proper working condition. Annex-C:
