PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
CONTACT
Senior Accomplished Civil Construction professional, with more than 20 years Civil Engineering experience. Obtained a proven track record through successfully leading teams for both Main Contractors and Project Management Consultants. My specific roles, experience and expertise have been gained across a wide range of Civil Engineering projects; Doha Metro Rail (Qatar), Gautrain Rapid Rail (South Africa), rehabilitation to existing Tshwane Rail Structures (South Africa), Power Stations (South Africa) as well as projects for Local Government.
In these roles I have been responsible for executing the works, improving and maintaining all construction activities, structural and natural environment and ensuring the Quality of the works as they carried out, either as a contractor or on behalf of the client. This latter is the basis of my role in the Doha Metro Red Line South and Green Line elevated project where I lead a team of 20 engineers and inspectors on behalf of the client, Qatar Rail.
My extensive experience in civil construction sector has given me a good ability in both leading teams at site and liaising and interfacing with the client and related systems subcontractors. This was a significant element of my role in the Gautrain Rapid Rail project as well as the five-year Medupi Power station.
