1.Spray characteristics of Biodiesel by optimizing it using multi response signal to noise ratio (Nov 2017-Apr 2018).

• The main objective of this project is to obtain the optimized value and main effect plots from the influencing factors using ANOVA.

• With the help of "Minitab 14.0" software where the optimum levels of the parameters were found using higher Signal - Noise ratio.

2.Design and development of a multi-color soot emission diagnostics to measure soot temperature and concentration

(Sep 2019 – Dec 2019) (Masters thesis)

Developed a MATLAB code to read images in .tiff format from camera in line of sight attenuation setup, where three slits were used to filter soot emission into wavelengths of three different colours (RED, BLUE and GREEN images). Then the temperature of the soot was calculated from the pixel intensity values of the images that were read using MATLAB.

3.Micro-hole Film Cooling of Aircraft Turbine Blade (Jan 2019 to Apr 2019) (Masters project)

A flat plate with one hole is designed and CFD analysis is conducted over the plate for the validation purpose by giving the same inputs from the reference paper selected. Then, extra analysis was done by testing the flat plate with multiple holes and how the cooling performance varies accordingly.
