CAREER SUMMARY
As a Family Nurse Practitioner student, I spent many months providing preventative care, medical management, and education for patients of all ages across the lifespan, honing assessment and critical thinking skills. Using both pharmacological and non-pharmacological modalities for both chronic and episodic illnesses, I also assessed and evaluated effectiveness of all interventions, collaborating with multi-disciplinary members of the healthcare team when needed. I have provided holistic care to patients of all ages and all socioeconomic backgrounds based on nursing theory, nursing research and evidence. With 25 years of nursing experience, certified in both Emergency and Critical Care nursing, I bring vast knowledge and experience to my practice. I am now seeking to join a team as a Family Nurse Practitioner, to make a positive contribution to the healthcare team and the patients.
