Responsible for handling multiple cases dealing with abused and neglected children on a day to day basis. Provided guidance for parents who were not familiar with the system. That guidance included: offering referrals to attorneys and counselors, showing how to file a protective order, accompanying clients to court, being a mediator between the clients and parties involved in the case, providing letters to the court advocating for the child’s safety, etc. I was also responsible for coordinating volunteers for the organization as well as participating in outreach events to give more knowledge about the organization to the community
