Construction Manager. As the owners on-site construction manager I successfully managed the scope, schedule and budget for a $150 million dollar, 850,000 sq. ft. design build ground out plant expansion project built on an EPA Super Fund Site in Collierville, TN. Directed weekly meetings with the Clients EHS Director, EPA, Tennessee Environment and Conservation, to value engineer methods used to effectively handle, test and remediate materials removed during demolition of existing buildings and structures that contained lead, asbestos, and TCE. Led team efforts in onsite remediation, which contributed to considerable savings in eliminating the transporting of contaminated soils and other construction materials to a certified landfill. Applied value engineering to other aspects of the project not only to save money but to trim weeks off of the schedule to complete the project within budget and on time.
