In our Emergency we have individual patient assignment. The assignment Staff has to take the overall responsibilities of the patient.

DUTIES

Receiving the patient from ambulance, who has undergone Emergency,Trauma and cardiac arrest and other human related problems

Taking care of the physically ill personals and perfect Management

Initial Assessment and continues monitoring of the patient taking care of the all illness.

Medication Administration and inotropes infusing is needed.

Continues ECG and vital signs monitoring.

Sending blood samples for periodical investigation.

Blood transfusion and maintaining fluid electrolyte balance.

Giving general nursing care for maintaining personal hygiene and infection control and giving psychological support.

Removal of lines according to the patient condition.

Helping the patient to mobilize.

Entering the patient data in the Computer and periodically updating it, using computer for doing investigation and intending medication

Giving effective support care like psychological support, motivation and counseling to the patient

Shifting out the patient to intermediate ICU or ward
