Wish Granting Volunteer March 2016-2017

• Worked in teams of two to interview the wish child and family to determine the child's one true wish, helping the child stay engaged while waiting for the wish to happen, working with staff to help fulfill the wish, and finally, throwing a wish party when the wish is granted. As volunteers, we are also responsible for meeting with wish families after the wish experience to talk about the wish, collect any photos that the family is willing to share, and make ensure the family had a positive overall wish experience.
