Job Description

i. Reporting to Manager Projects (EPC&C).

ii. Preparation of bid with respect to I & C scope of work complete in all respect as mentioned in the tender documentation (i.e. technically and commercially) by offering optimizing solution.

iii. Project scheduling with respect to I&C scope of work complete in all respect. iv. Kick off meetings with client, vendor/supplier, sub – contractor, etc. v. Lead an I&C team.

vi. To develop an interdisciplinary communication protocols for instrumentation & control works, such as other engineering leads, procurement managers, site managers etc. for preparation of interdisciplinary dependent instrumentation and control documentation. vii. I & C engineering inputs in the preparation of vendor skid/package and balance of plant Process engineering documents such as P&IDs/Cause & Effect matrix/ Control philosophy/ HAZOP Study Commissioning & Startup procedures, etc. viii. Instrumentation and Control scope of work as per the international standards and codes in vendor packages/skids such as amine sweetening unit, Instrument air compressor, RO Unit etc etc.

ix. Responsible for Instrumentation and Control engineering as per the international standards and codes for balance of plant, including but not limited to the following,

Process control system.

Combine safety systems.

Process measuring instrumentation and Control valve.

Safety measuring instrumentation with Fire and Gas detection system, Shutdown/blow down valve and SIL study.

Building Fire Alarm system

Communication system

x. Approval of RFQs for Instrumentation and Control vendors and their offer evaluation. xi. Resolution of clashes between Instrumentation and Control engineering with other engineering discipline, vendor standard offer and process skid respectively. xii.
