Current Responsibilities

• Prepare software/hardware setup on Linux or Windows and reproduce/replicate the customer’s, partner’s and end user’s bugs/issues.

• Follow up with the customer to understand reproduction steps and the scenario in which issue/bug is being triggered using mail or bug tracking system.

• Initially analyse the log files, core/memory dumps, applications, event logs to understand errors/problems to help the developer to find the root cause of the issue.

• Work with developers to isolate the issue with different software/hardware configurations, collect the debug logs, find the regression window, verify bug and close it etc

• Provide right guidance to customers/end users for technical queries by collaborating with multiple teams like Developers, SWPMs, CPMs, Technical Writers etc
