Project Title: Management of Leak Survey Areas in Gas Utilities using Mobile GIS Mentor: Mr. Tejasvi Nagaraj and Mrs. Aparupa Barman Description: Management of gas leak survey is the actual work of investigating the lines to identify all potential leaks and put up a possible cure for the same. This was achieved by making use of Geographic Information System (GIS) with the defined attempts which would allow the technician to undertake the Gas leak survey and notify the authority about the leaks in the Gas network so that they can be cured. The project makes use of ArcGIS online, Jupyter Notebook and QT QML for the complete Leak Detection Survey in the gas pipeline.

Project Title: Geospatial Site Suitability analysis for waste disposal sites using Goal Programming and Compromise Programming in Varanasi district

Mentor: Dr. Sudhakar Shukla, Scientist and Head of School of GeoInformatics, Lucknow Description: The study made an attempt to carry out a comparative analysis of two algorithmic approach i.e. goal programming and compromise programming from operational research for geospatial site suitability analysis. Project Title: Geospatial Site Suitability Analysis using Goal Programming and Compromise programming

Description: The study made an attempt to use both the techniques namely Goal programming and Compromise programming in raster based site suitability analysis in the Dehradun city. Both these approaches are much more sophisticated as compared to other methods available in popular software packages and thus help to achieve the sites with minimal error possibility.

Project Title: Digital Mapping And 3D Visualization of Subsurface Geology by using Arc GIS with Well Log and GPR data.

Description: This project involves digital mapping and 3D visualization of subsurface geology using ESRI Arc GIS software and well log data. Arc GIS makes it possible to drive most of the building blocks for 3D visualization including- 3D well bore, geological surface, cross section, fence diagram, block diagram, faults and geological solid from a single shape file with well log data including coordinates (X and Y). Project Title: Model Water Quality using Interpolation Mentor: Mr. Pankaj Srivastava

Description: Recognizing the current degree of pollution in rivers and the importance of the sustainable water resources management, the interactive river monitoring appears to be at the center of recent focus. This work brings an integrated platform on which ArcGIS Pro is used as a tool for the modeling of Water Quality. Interpolation method is also used to bring up the efficient results.

Project Title: Crime mapping, visualization and predictive analysis by using ArcGIS API for Python and Jupyter Notebook

Description: Crime is a perplexing collaboration of numerous procedures that this notebook doesn't completely represent. This notebook will give a basic portrayal of how GIS innovation and machine learning can be utilized to recognize crime inclined zones and manufacture prescient policing models utilizing freely available information using API for Python.
