Performed Duties:

Performed anticipated workloads and corrosion control activities and schedules general aircraft painting in accordance with the standard and develops organizational structure showing its higher authority in connection with proper workflow and efficiency of the assigned task.

Assigns work in accordance with established priorities. Maintains and follow-up to insure adherence to schedules and work standards. Supervises in the performance of aircraft painting jobs and corrosion control tasks including identification of corrosion and type metal corroded, corrosion removal and application of protective coatings, including primary coats and surface coats. Checks work of personnel, observing proper procedures, equipment, and materials used.

Establishes and conducts on-the-job training. Orients newly assigned personnel. Plans and supervises on-the-job training. Arranges for training facilities, equipment and instructor. Records training accomplished and individual progress. Maintains follow-up to insure adequacy and effectiveness of training Insures that all workers are familiar with applicable directives.

Inspects paint deteriorations and defects, evaluates corrosion, Conducts periodic inspections, determines the status of compliance with policies and regulations. Checks for proper maintenance of machines and equipment, storage and use of materials and presence of fire and safety hazards. Examines work orders for proper authorization and compares time in shop with priority assignment.

Performs technical corrosion control functions :Identifies type corrosion and type metal corroded. Removes corrosion using chemical and mechanical techniques. Treats metals and performs metal etching. Uses corrosion detection, measuring, metal identification, and special cleaning, treatment, and application equipment.

Performs general aircraft painting and its major parts and components by use of a conventional spray gun, brush or roller. Performs paint stripping, sanding, masking and taping of specific areas, prepares and treat metal surface prior to application of epoxy primer and surface coatings, Mixes/blends paints and special cleaning materials.

Prepares and fabricates stencils for aircraft markings and decals.

Performs maintenance documentation and reports. Maintains corrosion control and painting equipments appropriately.

Operates vehicles, vans, trucks and forklifts under three (3) tons capacity.

Observed proper wearing of PPE's, follow safety standard and responsible housekeeping procedures.

Knowledge in Computer, Windows Apps (MS Word, Excel, Power Point Presentation).
