ACADEMIC PROJECTS

1. FM radio transmitter

Successfully built a personal FM transmitter that broadcast a signal from a portable audio device to a standard FM radio (mini project during semester 3). 2. Portable electronic meter for point of care of biological markers Designed a portable electronic meter for trimester blood tests. This device simultaneously detects the levels of albumin, glucose, serum iron and thyroid stimulating hormone in blood samples by a biosensor array.(mini project during semester 5). 3. Video based vital parameters measurement using rPPG Developed a video based non contact method for the measurement of vital parameters. Photoplethysmogram signal resulting from local variations of blood volume in the tissues reflects the peripheral pulse wave modulated by heart activity, respiration and other physiological effects and this signal is used for measuring vital parameters.(mini project during semester 8).
