Project: Development of Tropic State Index in Brackish and Fresh water Objective: The main objective of the project is to investigate the relation between cause/response variables of eutrophication and secondary indicator parameters of water quality of freshwater and brackish lakes
Description: The purpose of the study is that there is no proper study made using secondary indicator parameters like salinity & chlorophyll a, which were not studied anywhere, our study begins with collection of water samples from the selected locations of Ashtamudi lake. After the water collection, the quality of water is being analyzed in the laboratory and trophic state index of each location is identified by testing various primary and secondary parameters.

Project: Rehabilitation works under Kerala irrigation department Objective: Maintain a regionally coordinated warning and emergency response level that can detect the flood threat .
Description: Done flood level marking during flood occurred in our state by visiting bridges, landmarks, houses etc. and marking the flood level under the supervision of Water Resources Department.
