Project Title: MODELING AND ANALYSIS OF CYLINDER AND CYLINDER HEAD
OF FOUR STROKE S.I ENGINE
Project Outline:
In our project, we have designed an assembly of cylinder and cylinder head.
The materials concerned are two different aluminum alloys 6061 and 7475
Thermal analysis is done on the cylinder. To determine the thermal behavior of two alloys for the original model and also by reducing the thickness of the cylinder head.
By comparing the results between two alloys thermal flux is more for aluminum alloy 6061, than alloy aluminum 7475
So we conclude that using aluminum alloy 6061 by reducing the thickness of cylinder is better.
