Working as a Business Analytics Intern, ongoing (October2020-December2020) at
Vixplor, Kolkata.
Worked as an Academic Research Intern (June2019 - July2019) under
Prof. Saumya Chakrabarti, HOD, Department of Economics, Visva Bharati
University. The project analysed various aspects of the Informal Sector in
India such as market structure, exploitation, revenue using primary data
from some clusters of West Bengal. The data analyses were carried out using
statistical tools such as STATA and MS Excel.
Did a project on- Fertility Rate in India: Its causes and effects in the
Economy. The paper showed how the different socio-economic factors effects
the Total Fertility Rate and finally what the impact of declining Fertility Rate
in the overall economic development of India. The data analyses were carried
out using statistical tools such as MS Excel.
Did a dissertation on- Urban Housing and Religion: Evidences from India.
The paper showed religious disparities in housing and how the differences in
housing may lead to social divide by subjecting different religions to varied
amounts of risk in a pandemic scenario arising from a highly infectious virus
(COVID-19). The project included large scale data handling of two different
rounds; 65th Round and 69th Round of National Sample Survey (NSS). The
data analyses were carried out using statistical tools such as STATA, MS
Excel and Q-GIS.
