Court Appointed Special Advocate 2015-Current
Volunteer as an advocate for children who have been abused and/or neglected. These children are at risk of being removed or have been removed from their homes. As a CASA volunteer, I advocate for the children’s best interests. I serve as the eyes and ears of the judge. I interview the children and anyone else who is involved in the case; parents, foster parents, caseworkers, attorneys, teachers, and family members. I report my finding to the judge assigned to the case.
Through fundraising efforts, I was able to raise over $1,700 for the CASA organization.
Pittsford Mustang Soccer League
Soccer Coordinator 2008-2014
Volunteered as a coordinator, for the town of Pittsford’s Youth Recreation Soccer program. I recruited coaches for the Spring and Fall soccer teams. Met with coaches as needed. Placed each player on teams, ordered uniforms for all the players, and created practice and game schedules. Sent out correspondences to parents and coaches, regarding players and the guidelines.
