PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I am a highly motivated, flexible military spouse who is looking for a position that will grow with me and allow me the flexibility to utilize my advanced skill set from anywhere in the world. I am uniquely suited to provide online medical care from the skills gained from my last position as a Nurse Practitioner with the US Air Force. I expertly navigated multiple EHR systems in order to provide top notch care to our nation’s military forces. I look forward to bringing these skills to a new position while we are stationed in Italy and through any other moves in the future. EXPERIENCE
Nurse Practitioner-Deployment Readiness Health Assessment (DRHA) Provider 86th Medical Group, Ramstein AFB, Germany, Dec 2018-Aug 2020 Oversaw Mental Health and Deployment Health screenings for Air Force personnel annually and as needed for wartime missions. I screened and referred members for further treatment for complex conditions and medication management. Furthermore, I assessed if each Airman’s medical needs could be supported by deployed or contract services during their deployment.
● Ordered contingency based treatments such as anti-malarial medications, biological/chemical warfare antidotes, and prescription refills
● Referred patients for specialized treatment for new conditions
● Ordered and interpreted lab results for my patients

Nurse Practitioner Consulting Opps
DearHiring Manager,
I am very excited to see your company is hiring for a Nurse Practitioner. I have been a nurse practitioner for five years. We have been living overseas for over three years and just moved to Italy from Germany. I am a quick learner and have succeeded because of the challenges I have faced as a military spouse.
I have experience providing much needed care to our nation's heroes in the Veteran’s Administration primary care clinics. They were definitely the most complex and challenging patients to care for. My compassion and empathy are what drove me to provide the best care possible for them. Volunteering in Germany allowed me to take care of active duty military members and their families increasing access to care. I volunteered for a year and enjoyed strengthening my skills in women's health.
My most recent job working as a contractor in the military medical system expanded my knowledge base. I provided quick and efficient in clinic and telehealth care to active duty service members for annual readiness requirements, as well as deployment readiness requirements. The duties of this job were very specific, but so rewarding as I was responsible for ensuring service members were mentally and physically able to deploy, with or without medical conditions. While I was not directly providing primary care, I still needed to know current practice guidelines (to include women's health), lab findings, and pharmacology, as we prescribed biological/chemical warfare antidotes, anti-malarial meds, and refilled medications for the duration of their deployment. I was required to switch between two electronic health records and one scheduling interface with each patient encounter. During this time I have learned that flexibility, patience and grit are essential for me to stay current with my advanced practice while elevating my career. Finally, I feel my adaptability to new situations and environments is one of my strongest assets. I believe that with my skills and passion for caring for patients via telehealth, I would make a great addition to your team. I look forward to finding a position that will allow me practice anywhere and grow with me. Respectfully,
Lindsay Manjarres, FNP-BC
