Description:

The Novum IQ Infusion System includes a Large Volume Parenteral Pump (referred to as “LVP”), Syringe Pump (referred to as “SP”), a Master Drug Library (MDL) application (Dose IQ) with editor, and interfaces to an external Gateway System. The Master Drug Library with editor is a part of a dose error reduction system whose medication parameters are configurable and transferable to the LVP and SP to minimize potential medication errors. The Gateway System is owned by Care Everywhere and serves as communication interface between the Novum IQ Infusion system and existing hospital information systems to implement some of Novum IQ Infusion System’s intended functions.

Xerox’s web browser-based software tool installs, configures, manages, monitors, and reports on networked printers and multifunction devices in the enterprise - regardless of manufacturer. The application proactively monitors device status receiving alerts on printer status and problems, allowing everyday issues to be resolved before user’s experience down-time.

Printer driver is a piece of software that converts the data to be printed to the form specific to a printer. The purpose of printer drivers is to allow applications to do printing without being aware of the technical details of each printer model.

Driver testing involves testing the drivers on different OS platforms. The drivers are tested in Windows, MAC, Linux and UNIX platform and also the drivers are tested in Citrix, Novel through Environmental Testing. The driver Convert the user feature to a. prn file and send them across to the printer for printing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparing Test Design, Test Cases, Test scripts, Requirement Analysis Metrics, Requirement Traceable Metrics and logging gaps.

Responsible for the below mentioned:

oPorting and updating Test cases in HP ALM.

oBlack Box Test Execution as per provided guideline for dry and formal runs.

oChecking latest and approved documents in TcU.

oPerforming test execution for MDL and Infusion Pump.

oLogging defects and creating DCR’s of the same.

oUpgrading and downgrading pumps as per project demands

Responsible for weekly build downloading using FileZilla.

Complete exposure to all the stages of Software Test Lifecycle

Responsible for running test cases and posting defects in IBM ClearQuest Rational Tool (Defect Tracking tool powered by IBM).

Perform smoke testing once the build is ready to test.

Check the status of every issue and update the same to team lead on daily basis through emails and status trackers.

Sometimes interacting with developers to make sure that they understood the issues and proactively involved in defect review meeting.
