Activities

In the past I have done a lot of different activities to give back and help people in the community.

For 2 years I helped in my school office (Sheppard Public School) as an office helper, I helped with preparing lunches for students who didn’t have any, printing and cutting papers for school staff and preparing ice bags for injured students.

For a big part of my life I’ve been attending Sunday school and youth groups, along with that I have helped preparing meals and cleaning up at my local church St Joseph Church in Kitchener, ON.

Sports also holds an important part in my life I’ve done so many different sports, last year at Stanley Park Senior Public School I participated in every sport team offered

And this year at Kitchener Waterloo Collegiate and Vocational School I participated in the junior girls’ basketball team.

Along with sports I’ve also participated in leadership groups where we share ideas and creating different activities for the school to do for example; planning dances and fundraisers.

I go to school as a French immersion student, I’ve been doing French immersion since kindergarten, my first language would be English and along with that I also speak French and Juba Arabic.

In my free time, I like to bake sweets and I also enjoy cooking.
