I have a wealth of experience in all aspects of communication in global companies. I pride myself on my writing skills, and my ability to implement clear and effective marketing strategies that deliver results and business growth. I am looking for a freelance writing position. I am also a psychotherapist, and prefer to balance these two career paths. Experience:

FibroConsulting – Founder and CEO (1989 – present) A Cognitive Behavioral Therapist for 30 years, I provide resources, counseling, training and support for people with Fibromyalgia and their practitioners. I have published three books and two video courses on the topic. I create and maintain my own content, including a weekly blog. (FibroConsulting.com) BrainsWay – Marketing Manager (Jan 2019 – June 2019) Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all collateral materials for growing med-tech company, including: Web content, social media, SEO, executive communications and branding. (I broke my hand in June 2019, thus the brief tenure)

OurCrowd – Portfolio Reporting Executive (June 2017 – Jan 2019) Created quarterly qualitative reports for 160 start-up companies. Content was gleaned from interviews, research and pulling teeth of busy CEOs.

Gigawatt Global – Director of Communications (Jan 2015 – April 2017) As the first team member to hold this position, I created all aspects of this global start-up company’s communication strategy, including web content, pitch decks, executive summary, press releases, blog, branding, etc. I was also the company’s liaison to Power Africa, a White House initiative to increase renewable energy in Africa. MyMediaLabs – New Marketing Strategist and Blogger (Jan 2013 – Dec 2017) Provided original research and blog content for law firms. As the only non-lawyer on the team, I executed the task of generating and researching my own topics and providing blog batches with speed, accuracy and humor. Apparently, it is easier to teach a writer the entire field of law than it is to teach a lawyer to write a good blog post. Over the life of this contract I wrote over 1000 blog posts. The company was acquired by LexisNexis. Education:
