Project Title: Effect of filtration media and layer thickness of physical and chemical properties of grey water.
Description: This study was carried out on the grey water using individual filtration media which were easily available such as gravel, grit, sand and broken brick at the depth of 45 cm, 30 cm, and 15 cm under physical properties temperature, colour, turbidity and odour were studied at Maldad village, Sangamaner. Also chemical properties like pH, EC, TDS, Potassium, and Calcium etc. were studied. These two physical and chemical properties of grey water studied for knowing the quality of grey water for irrigating horticultural as well as garden crops.

Project Title: Landuse and dug well mapping, well proximity analysis, Geo- Morphological analysis of Maldad watershed.
Description: In Landuse mapping, area contributing to different features present in Maldad watershed such as agriculture land, plantation, wasteland, waterbody, settlement and number of dug wells present in Maldad watershed were mapped for wells proximity analysis. A well proximity analysis performed to study the adjacency in dug well locations and to find out the pattern and distribution which is indicator of availability of ground water in Maldad watershed using ArcGIS software. Also in Geo-Morphological analysis different watershed characteristics such as linear aspect, areal aspect, relief aspect of Maldad watershed were studied.
