Responsibilities:

Creating Parts Manual Illustrations for various Caterpillar products using Canvas by referring Engineering Drawing, ECN, 3D Models in Creo Parametric and Team center VIS mockup.

Revising the existing Illustrations for various change levels, by reading and interpreting Engineering drawings for determining the changes in the model & aligning to Author’s Mark up.

Timely deliverables (NPI & CPI), in accordance with project requirements, product specifications and Caterpillar standards.

Acts a liaison between the team and the Global leaders to understand their expectation on parts manual deliverables and due dates by organizing collaboration meeting on monthly basis with different product groups.

Illustrations will depict exploded, disassembled, and sectioned assembly components to make it easier for the dealer and user for parts ordering, as well as service and repair procedures.

Work on NPI & CPI to create a new BOM Structure or revise existing structure.

Lead and Resolve customer and dealer feedback tickets by closely working with the internal resources.

Collaborating with the CGC’s of various Product groups whenever required, for product specific exceptions to deliver the Illustrations with good quality & clarity.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively contributed towards Continuous Improvement (CI) Projects by posting new Ideas which helped for improvement in process and non-process related areas.

SPOC for Excavator Illustration Team and lead the team members from the front to work towards achieving the goal of timely delivery Parts Catalogue Information to the Customers

Mentoring/training of subordinates, assisting the team leader in assigning and reviewing day-to-day work of other employees.

Organizer for Team Engagement activities, Peer to Peer Recognition along with Leadership attributes.
