1- from October-2017 till now: Engineer in Water Network affairs (WNA) at Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA) – state of Qatar. 1-1. PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT

• Employee of the month two times, December 2019 and May 2018;

• Ensure efficient operations of water stations, by supervising the storage and transport operations of product water from desalination stations to different stations located in different parts of Qatar.

• Ensure effective distribution of water to consumers by participating in the operation of water reservoirs, pumping and chlorination stations.

1-2. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring and control of water systems from desalination plants to main distribution networks which mainly consist of water primary Mega Reservoirs & Pumping Stations (PRPS) (736000 m3 – 162 MIG), Mega Pumping station Plant

(Q=1391 l/s; 57 m each pump), secondary reservoir and pumping stations SRPSs with storage capacities ranging 645500 m3 (142 MIG) and 109000 m3 (24 MIG) as well as inlets and outlet lines (diameter ranging 2000 mm and 1000 mm), chlorination system and drainage system.

• Overseeing a teams of supervisors and operators to monitor and control Reservoirs’ levels, the flow, pressure, chlorine dioxide in the inlet lines and outlet lines and to decide about the mode of operation of the stations (local SCADA, SCADA auto, Remote/NWCC mode- National Water Control Center) to ensure water quality and enough pressure to the customers;

• Coordinating with concerned sections (maintenance, technical affairs, general services, or contractors, …) to repair defects in water pumping stations and main water networks located in different parts of Qatar, to ensure effective operation of KAHRAMA’s water systems.

• Assisting the manager/Director of water network affairs in recommending the reconstruction of new reservoirs and associated facilities including distillate mains, and SCADA system, in order to meet future water demands of KAHRAMA’s customers.

• Attending and facilitating the testing and commissioning of new Reservoir stations and their pumping stations, and chlorination stations, water tower and pipelines.

• Planning and Scheduling programs for shutdown of water stations, main pipelines, transmission and distribution primary pipelines in order to ensure timely work completion. 2 P a g e 3

• Reviewing all technical weekly and monthly reports related to reservoirs and pumping stations operations and to take appropriate measures to ensure a safe operation of the water pumping stations and efficient of the whole water network system.

• Reviewing all projects’ technical documents (control philosophy of the station, method statements, drawings, as-built drawings… etc.) starting from planning stage till final handing over/ project close out.

• Monitoring the chemical consumption, keep the proper stock and order needed chemical accordingly.

• Carrying out required training to pumping stations supervisors / pumping stations operators to keep them updated with the newly constructed facilities and equipment.

• Working in coordination with quality assurance and continual improvement department on securing and maintaining the ISO 9002 certification.

2. From Marsh 2007 till October 2017: I had been working for the National company of Exploitation and Distribution of water (La SOciété Nationale d ’Exploitation et de Distribution des Eaux : SONEDE) its main role is to product, treat, stock and distribute of water to customers though the entire Tunisian territory. Where I have been promoted to occupy many positions as follows: 2-1. From January 2016 to October 2017: Chief of District / Manager of the company of Exploitation and Distribution of water (SONEDE) at Tataouine Province - Tunisia. PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT:

• Contributing effectively in solving a complex problems related to the implementation of new projects and water networks operation issues.

• Close coordination with the ministry of agriculture & Water Resources and SONEDE’s top management to get necessary approval to finance many projects related to supplying new areas with drinking water or upgrade existing drinking water systems through all Tataouine Province Territory, which contributed enormously on reducing water shortage complaints.

• Saving money by negotiating a better deals from suppliers & contractors; ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervised and managed the complete operation of the Company and ensured all goals are met based on the company's strategic plans by performing routine meeting with all regional SONEDE’s head of sections to assess the direction of the company, develop short and long-term goals, plans, and strategies, and ensure the company's compliance with the standards specifications.

• Supervised a team of Head of sections in several fields related to production, storage and distribution of drinking water and implementation of water projects, (Operation section, Planning & control section, New project section, and Administrative, Financial& Legal section).

• Reviewed approved hydraulic and hydrogeological reports for the implementation of new projects (drilling of new deep wells, construction of new reservoirs and pipelines networks) to meet customer’s satisfaction in term of providing of drinking water with the required qualities and quantities.

• Prepared necessary budgets and coordinated with SONEDE’s top management, local governorate, concerned ministry to approve and allocate appropriate budgets to implements new projects.

• Conducted meeting with the contractors to negotiate lowering the total cost of projects or to adjust prices for some items in the project scope.

• Conducted routine and exceptional meetings along with concerned Head of sections, external stakeholders (electric power&gas supply company, Télécom, National water sanitation office, municipality representatives …) to solve and mitigate problems that can face the implementation of ongoing and planned water projects.

• President of committee, its responsibility is to select the appropriate contractors to perform projects as per SONEDE’s specifications.

• Member in the regional disaster committee: its role was to perform coordination and implementation of all measures to mitigate/prevent from disaster events such as rainstorms, windstorms, flooding, fires in all over the province territory under the supervision of the province Governor. 3 P a g e 3

2.2. From July 2010 to August 2016: Head of water operation section - The National Water Distribution Utility (SONEDE) Province of Kairouan - Tunisia:

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENT: Key committee member in the Water Resources Direction Department in the ministry of Agriculture & Water resources, its main role is to follow up major projects progress in the province of Kairouan territory under SONEDE or under Rural Engineering department (GR) and to coordinate with contractors, consultants, Concerned departments & citizens to facilitate and expedite complete projects within the time and as per the required specifications.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for production, storage and distribution of drinking water for customers throughout Kairouan province areas (6700 km2), the water network systems which involve 40 reservoirs capacities ranging 100 m3 and 20000 m3, 30 deep wells (more than 150 m depth), 6 pumping stations and total length of 3000 Km water transmission and distribution networks, diameters ranging 100 mm and 1200 mm.

• Managed and Supervised technician teams for implementation of the new water infrastructure projects (construction of pipelines and Reservoirs) as well as for maintenance of water transmission and distribution networks.

• Liaised and collaborated with other stakeholders and clients in order to ensure that all parties are informed and aware of project progress and expectation.

• Managed a multiple team with diversity background (hydrology, hydraulic, electromechanical);

• Checked and controlled regularly the water table in 35 deep wells to avoid any dry running of emerged pumps and to identify over- exploited aquifers.

• Collected data and analyzed hydrological and hydro-geological parameters to identify the limits of watersheds, porosity and dimensions of aquifers layers, underground water flow direction, in order to determine locations of the deep wells to be drilled as a replacement for the non-efficient existing wells or as new projects to improve the water productivity.

• Planned activities related to preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment in reservoirs, pumping stations, deep wells’ emerged pumps, and chlorination stations to ensure efficiency of water network systems.

• Participated in all phases of projects execution by assisting in the selection of optimal consultants and contractors, supervising implementation and ensuring timely completion of project scope, in compliance with all established standards.

• Coordinated and liaised between all parties (Client, Contractors and external stakeholders) to ensure the implementation of projects within the timeframe and as per established SONEDE specification. 2.3. From September 2008- July 2010: Principal Engineer – Department of Studies and Planning of Major projects in Center and the South areas of Tunisia - At the National Company of Exploitation and Distribution of Water – SONEDE

• Conducted site visits to inspect the existing water network systems to determine their characteristics and studied their improvement for Sahel South regions such as provinces of Monastir, Mahdia and Sfax (which contain more than 2 million inhabitants).

• Studied, planned, Prepared the tender documents & bill of quantities, Technical and financial bids evaluation to select the best offer to perform the projects to supply Bekalta tourist area (80 hectares in Monastir Province) and to supply Kasserine industrial area (100 hectares in Kasserine Province) mainly include reservoirs, pumping stations, transmission and distribution networks design.

2.4. From March 2007 August 2008: Trainee Engineer – Directorate of Studies and Planning of major projects at the company of exploitation and distribution of water- SONEDE

• Participated in Conducting study for long term water demand forecasting (30 years) in Residential, Commercial, industrial and tourist zones in Sousse Province (600000 inhabitants) & Kairouan Province (500000 inhabitants), as well as, preparation of tender documents & bill of quantities; 3.
