A dynamic professional with 4 years of rich experience in the field of Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) projects for heavy mineral sand mining and precast manufacturing units. 8 months experience in refinery project as an Environmental Coordinator Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment reports fulfilling the statutory requirements of Ministry of Environmental and Forests, Government of India for obtaining Environmental Clearance
Presently associated with STS – Oman as an Environmental Engineer for Duqm Refinery project since 26 November 2019.
Earlier worked with CSIR-NIIST as an Environmental Engineer and HS Oberoi Pvt Ltd. as a Site Engineer –June 2012 to June 2013.

PROJECTS ASSOCIATED AND SPECIFIC CONTRIBUTIONS
1. Project: Duqm Refinery project: EPC Package 2-Utilities and Offsites
(Client: PSJV)
Preparation and submission of Waste Management plan, Monitoring plan and other environmental related plans to client and getting approval.
Air quality monitoring and noise quality monitoring in work site and giving necessary prevention measures to be adopted while working in high noise environments.
Monitoring the amount of waste arising from the project and timely evacuation from site by ensuring waste consignments notes for each type of waste.
Record keeping and updating the chemical lists for use in present project and submitting in timely manner to client/local government authority.
Conducting environmental tool box talk to staff and workers and providing details to client.
Conducting Vehicular inspections, Electrical inspections and obtaining Client approval
Coordinating the day to day permit activities
2. Project: Mining of Beach sand minerals at NK Block No: III for Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. covering an area of 88.119 Hectares in Kollam District, Kerala, India.
Impacts associated with beach sand mining was established.
The shoreline change detection was assessed using multi temporal satellite imageries in GIS platform.
Environmental management plan incorporating groins and coastal bioshield was formulated for the site.
Sustainable mining schedule considering the littoral drift statistics of the area was proposed.
Designing of environmental monitoring programme for post mining phase considering air, water and noise quality parameters.
3. Project: Inland mining of heavy minerals (atomic minerals) using DWUP and excavators in block IVEE for Indian Rare Earths Ltd. covering an area of 180 Hectares in Kollam district, Kerala, India
Estimation of saltwater contamination of Groundwater due to deep dredging
Noise quality modelling of the study area using hemispherical modelling
Providing post mining management measures for tackling saltwater contamination, proper well designing and pumping schedule.
Adaptation of proper refilling methods of mine pits to reduce the impacts on groundwater.
