Project Details:
HVDS is a technology where the Electricity is distributed to the consumers at Higher Voltage Level (11kV) instead of Low Voltage (400V/240V).
The area specifically consists of the rural and the village area, where the distribution infrastructure is very old and requires immediate up-gradation in order to meet the expectation of the IP consumers.
In order to improve the system by reducing the losses, reduce the failure rate of the transformers, it is proposed the implementation of the HVDS at Doddaballapura Subdivision, Nelamangala Division of BESCOM.
Responsibilities:
Extension of HT Line.
Conversion of LT to HT line.
Providing Independent /cluster DTC (16/25KVA) for IP consumers.
De-Aug/Augmented distribution transformers from existing location would be installed at new locations.
Crediting all dismantled line materials/Transformers to respective BESCOM store.
Any works including supply and erection which are not included in the item rate schedule of Rate Contract, but which are required to complete the work shall be carried out by the successful bidder by prevailing current SR rate/unit.
2. Niranthara Jyothi Scheme(NJY):

Project Details:
Niranthara Jyothi Project is a prestigious scheme of Government of Karnataka intends to provide 24 hrs 3 phase power supply to non-agricultural loads like domestic, commercial, water supply, street light, rural industries, milk dairies etc., in rural areas by segregating the agricultural loads.
The effect of failure of monsoon and shortage of power has severely hit the lives of the common man in rural Karnataka.
The Taluks under the jurisdiction of BESCOM have already been covered under phase I of NJY scheme in Doddaballapura and Nelamangala Sub Division of BESCOM.Now; it has been proposed to cover Magadi and Kudur Sub Division under the third phase of NJY scheme.
Responsibilities:
Existing LT Line of villages in rural areas.
Bifurcating the load due to tariff wise.
NJY feeders are constructed newly.

Automation of Wagon Charging In Tunnel Kiln Using Relay Logic January2013-March2013 (3 Months)
Our project basically deals with the design of control circuitry using relay logic for the automation of a tunnel kiln which is a major component in the firing process at BHEL EPD plant where replacing the present system which will have the ability to automatically open and close the doors of vestibule on the charging as well as discharging side without any human intervention.
Implementation of Transformer Protection By Intelligent Electronic Device(IED)RET670 -April2013-June2013 (3 Months)
RET670, an IED provides fast and selective protection, monitoring and control of all types of transformer. RET670 is designed for IEC 61850, implementing all aspects of this standard. It is configured for the desired transformer protection scheme by ABB's unique connectivity package PCM600. The configured IED is tested under different fault conditions simulated by using mobile test kit to ensure IED's reliable operation on site.
