PERSONAL STATEMENT
I am a Finance/Legal Professional with an M.B.A. in Finance from N.Y.U. - Stern School of Business and LL.B – King's College, Aberdeen University (U.K.). I am passionate about careful financial and legal analysis and highly experienced in Bankruptcy, Financial Analysis, effectively conveying projections and outcomes in financial spreadsheets, and crafting well-written, effective documents, communications, correspondence, pleadings, Discovery Requests, Business Plans etc. to achieve superior results.
I have been semi-retired, however able to work on-site or remotely now that my children are off in college. I am seeking to work in a support role for an attorney or team/Department and enjoy, and am adept at, Financial and Legal Analysis and Research, Marketing and Communications. I am a strong communicator and effective writer to clients and to new customers in presenting and promoting the organization's mission, services and role.
I graduated from King's College in the United Kingdom where
I earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B – University of Aberdeen). I have an M.B.A. in Finance from the N.Y.U. Stern School of Business where I was awarded the Slater Award for creating a statistical simulation model for analyzing Venture Capital Investments while completing an LL.M in Corporate and Bankruptcy Law, after which I clerked with Judge Burton R. Lifland and Tina L. Brozman in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, SDNY.
Most recently I have been managing a wealthy individual's stock and real estate portfolios, as well as my own real estate properties. With my children now off to college, I am seeking to use my Finance and Legal backgrounds in a part-time or full-time role, on-site or remotely.
