Project Title: Reinforcement of Coconut Coir Pith with HDPE Material

Agro based renewable materials have received significant attention in recent years due the worldwide environmental awareness over the conventional material.

In this project alkali treated coconut coir fibre will be reinforced with recycled high density polyethylene to form a composite material. Various formulations of the composite will be prepared in-order to obtain optimum mechanical and thermal properties.
