Utah Mobile Physicians: 7/8/20 – Present (Contracted 1099 Employee) Primary care group that focuses on the patient at home. I perform weekly visits with high risk and unstable patients providing all of their medical care in order to stabilize and prevent an Emergency room visit. Interpret labs, perform procedures, provide wound care, manage chronic and acute medications, diagnose disease states, and provide a treatment plan. I work closely with 8 other providers to ensure complete patient care and satisfaction.
6 Week rotation schedule
Hawkins County Hospital: Internal Medicine Hospitalist. Rounded on patient’s every morning, discussed adjustment of medications, hospital course of care, documented in Epic EMR. Performed joint aspirations, thoracentesis, venipunctures, wound debridement.
Elizabethton Primary Care: Evaluated general patient complaints. Medication management, ordered and interpreted labs, provided patient education on primary complaints
Psychiatry Associates of Kingsport: Provided medication management for a variety of psychiatric complaints, consulted and discussed patient care with on-site counselor
Embrace Advanced Gynecology and Obstetrics: Gathered information and treated for a variety of women’s health complaints. Performed gynecological exams. Assisted during surgical procedures.
Johnson City Medical Center Emergency Room: Performed patient interviews, discussed course of patient care, ordered and evaluated labs. Performed multiple procedures including sutures, staples, joint reductions, and injections.
Advent Health Group General Surgery: First assist in surgical procedures. Rounding on patients before and after clinic. Discussed patient course of care during hospital stay.
Wellmont Cardiovascular Group: Rotated through General Cardiology inpatient and outpatient. Cardiothoracic surgery inpatient and outpatient. Vascular surgery inpatient and outpatient. Electrophysiology inpatient and outpatient.
